Chuck exemplifies the YMCA mission and brings awareness of the ymca to the community through his strong commitment and passion.  Chuck has served on THE board (including 3 years as Board Chair), on committees and project teams. When the Y needs him, he shows up!  In fact, daily Chuck can be found participating in program, OR leading it. His experience and understanding of the Y and the community we serve is invaluable. He encourages others to do more, while increasing his personal involvement every year. Chuck is a man of character. His word is good and his intentions are honorable..  chuck also received his first Distinguished service award in 2002 and we are proud to recognize him again as saddleback’s volunteer of the year
