Nancy Ludt has been involved with the Bereaved Parent Support Group in Orange County since 1977 shortly after the heart wrenching and devastating loss of her 11-year-old son in a sea accident.  Nancy became a regular in the group and formed a common bond with other families who had lost a child.  Two years later, the volunteer facilitator who ran the group was ready to retire and asked Nancy to take over.  Nancy not only stepped up to the challenge, but has voluntarily led the group for the last 30 years and in doing so has helped countless families in our community deal with the tragedy of the death of a child and coping with life after their loss.
