Guitar Lessons at the Y |

Express yourself through music. You can have an advantage that will last a lifetime. Classes are taught by certified music professionals. Classes start July 12th. Parents-come and work out while your child plays guitar! Course fee $125.00

The Central Orange Coast YMCA provided 54 children with free swim lessons and water safety education during the month of May. Thanks to everyone that helped out and participated in bringing a safer summer of swimming to all the children and families in our community!

Edward Kehoe of Newport Beach gave back to the YMCA he grew up in by putting his interest in engineering and love for the YMCA to good use. On January 9th and 10th, Ed and 14 Boy Scouts from Troop 37 in Newport Beach landscaped the play area and built a brand new playground structure for the children at the Central Orange Coast YMCA.  As part of our annual YMCA Partners Campaign, AT&T has awarded the Central Orange Coast YMCA a $5,000 grant to purchase 5 new computers for the Davis Elementary School YMCA Child Care program. With these funds, local children will be able to complete their homework, conduct research and learn skills interactively thanks to the generosity of AT&T. On Wednesday, October 28th at 6pm at the Central Orange Coast YMCA, Jeff Morin, Director of External Affairs for AT&T presented a $5,000 check to staff and board members. Due to the generosity of AT&T, the Central Orange Coast YMCA can continue to fulfill their mission, to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build strong spirit, mind, and body for all. We thank you AT&T!
