The newly-forming Santa Ana YMCA has selected its founding Board of Managers for the branch.  With a planned facility on 2.5 acres at the corner of Alton and Raitt next to Segerstrom High School, the Santa Ana YMCA will be the ninth YMCA branch in Orange County. 

Board members are selected based on a demonstrated a commitment to community involvement, senior positions within their respective organizations, and a diversity of backgrounds and expertise to help the YMCA continue to provide meaningful and results-oriented programs to families and children within the branch’s service area.

Santa Ana YMCA board members will serve a three-year term and will be responsible for strategic planning, program recommendations, oversight of policies and procedures for the branch, and fundraising and development activities.  They will also have an active voice in the community to share the positive work of the Santa Ana YMCA.

“We have carefully identified an exemplary group of leaders from business, education and the community to help us strengthen our capability to deliver the vital programs of the YMCA to the Santa Ana area,” said Jon Voget, Executive Director, Santa Ana YMCA.  “They will be instrumental in making a difference in the lives of these families and children.”
