First, a big thank you!
Thank you For allowing me to be part of the great mission in making a difference in our community, it has been such a privilege to be here and provide a helping hand to parents and kids alike. Additionally, your staff has set the example to follow and I will continue to do so for days come.
As I see the flourished relationships and memories created through a simple activity shared with other people, I ask myself, why did I not volunteer sooner? I’ve chosen to volunteer because for two reasons; first, there is no better way to give back as you set an example for your own kids to follow; second, to provide help where help is needed.
The YMCA is a really awesome place where all kids and parents can come to have a great time without being pressured, and everyone can have fun here and go home with a smile on their face. I’ve seen that and felt it as well. This place delivers great memories for kids of all ages, there is no doubt in that.
While I spend time at the facility, I’m coach Munoz for most people, but there are a few kids that call me dad and those kids are my daughters. There is always that laughter when they get my name mixed up at home and during a game or practice, it doesn’t get old even after six seasons. So yes, I should have volunteered sooner.
