The Major Gifts / Chairmans Round
When we started the YMCA four years
ago we loved the staff and wonderful sports they had to offer. Soccer
was a wonderful experience for both of our boys and when mom was
assistant coach it made it even better! T-ball was a great
introduction to team work and eye had coordination. Our kids
loved playing the games especially cooking night, the Bad News
Bears.
Then there is Indian Guides that is a wonderful dad
son experience. Tighter they share wonderful Catalina trips,
Boomers, waling in the 4th of July parade and just being together
with other dads and sons. The YMCA offers so many exciting
experiences for the family. Our favorite highlights in Indian
Guides are going to Lost Valley camping, shoe kick, making airplanes,
fishing and having fun. Highlights in soccer is seeing friends
on soccer field and learning the basics of soccer and having fun.
We
are thrilled to be a YMCA family for now and until our kids are all
grownup. The YMCA builds strong kids, families and strong
communities. Last year our son enrolled in Karate with Gary
Pitts. Gary is a wonderful Sensei and our son has earned
2 belts and has learned many self-defense moves. It is a wonderful
experience for our son. Thank you YMCA for everything!
