Dear Friends:

2008, what will it mean for YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR COMMUNITY? When you look back on 2007, do you see a lot of the great things that YOUR Y has done here in our community?

Our Bike for Kids campaign netted over 105 bikes from our community that we were able  to lube, polish and then give (with bike helmets and locks) to very needy kids in our community.

Our many volunteers were also out in force raising over $100,000 during our Partner With Youth campaign. This is the most we have raising in many years so I am happy to say that we are on track to do many great things in the financial arena. This is because of YOU and for YOU and YOUR COMMUNITY.

We continue to deliver the best programming to our kids from preschool on and are expanding to a middle school after school program being introduced by our own Sarah Love.

It may come as a surprise, but most schools in California have cut out PE as a required part of the curriculum. Our sports programs meet the needs of hundreds of OUR children in OUR community at nine schools in noontime sports and after school activities.

There is a lot more but my space it limited. Here is the point: without YOU and YOUR contribution of time and money it does not happen.  Help YOUR COMMUNITY. Thank you all for all that you have done in the past. Roll up your sleeve for our opportunities this year. Thank you!
