Y-Guides & Princesses
The
Y-Guides and Princesses were as hot as the heat wave that swept
through Southern California this summer! We thought
that things would cool down a little before school started, but
these dads and their sons and daughters are always on fire! Pacific
Eagle Nation blazed their trail to the Tepee village up at Big
Rock Creek Camp where they tested their low-ropes coarse skills
and caught fish by the dozen. Sleeping in a tepee is always
the biggest thrill for the little braves!
The Great Pacific
Nation Princesses set off to Two Harbors for the first time in
a few years and pitched their tents just a few feet from the
beach. They received their wristbands on the boat ride
over and enjoyed an “all-inclusive” stay at the isthmus
resort/campground. The Great Coastal Nation Guides took
their entire families down to Imperial Bay for their annual surf
camp where the little ones were springing up everywhere on surf
boards! The best thing for many of them was the famous
Surf Camp Cinnamon Rolls…cowabunga dudes!
The Guides and Princesses program is designed to help build
strong relationships between Dads and their kids. They spend quality
time together in the outdoors, with an Indian themed program. If
