| Shop For A Good Cause |
 On Wednesday, June 6th stop by the new Whole Foods Market and shop for a good cause… the YMCA! The new Whole Foods Market is located at 23932 Aliso Creek Road in Laguna Niguel. That day 5% of all purchases will be donated to the YMCA scholarship program, so invite your friends and neighbors! Each year the Laguna Niguel & Capistrano Beach Cities YMCA gives out over $430,000 in scholarships to children and families who need YMCA programs like afterschool childcare, youth sports, resident camp and inclusion services for children with special needs. This fundraising event is a great way for the YMCA to boost scholarship funds with a like-minded community partner. |

| Adventure Guides Now Registering |
  Registration is currently open for the 2012-2013 Adventure Guides year. Adventure Guides is a father/daughter or father/son program that focuses on family, fun, nature and adventure. Families work to earn patches and pins together during monthly group meetings. Additionally, families have the opportunity to participate in events such as camping on Catalina, pajama bowling, racing in a pinewood derby or sleeping over at Sea World. There are currently 8 groups in the south county area serving families in San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel and Aliso Viejo. If you are looking for more information, the YMCA will be hosting registration events on June 24th, August 19th and August 26th. | Summer Health Fair |
 On Saturday, June 16th the Health & Wellness Department will be holding a summer health fair in the courtyard from 9am-12pm. This is a free health fair open to the community. Blood pressure checks, flexibility analysis, diabetic screening and more will be available to members and the community. There will also be a variety of health vendors offering services and check-ups. | KidZone Upgrade |
 On June 22nd and 23rd YMCA staff will be hard at work completing an upgrade on KidZone. You may have already noticed the paint completed in May. We have many exciting things in store for our young members like new furniture, computers, toys, games and more! As a result of the upgrade, KidZone will be closed on Saturday, June 23rd. We apologize for the disruption in service, but we are sure you will enjoy the new investment. |
