Thank You Barney & Barney Foundation

The Laguna Niguel Family YMCA branch of the YMCA of Orange County received a $10,000 donation from the Barney & Barney Foundation at the end of September. The Barney & Barney Foundation was formed to create possibilities and ensure a bright future in communities. With the commitment the Y has to strengthening the foundation of community, the donation was a natural fit. The Y will be using the donation to support scholarships so that membership and programs are open to all.

With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has the access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. The Laguna Niguel Family YMCA serves the communities of Laguna Niguel and Aliso Viejo through a fitness facility, 15 afterschool programs, and many off-site programs. Whether you are 5 or 55 the Y has something for all like parent-child programs, CPR classes, adult sports leagues, yoga workshops, and more!
