Adventure Guides is so important to me because I get to go camping with my daddy. It is also special to me because I am able to spend time with my daddy. I learned a lot of different things with my dad. I have got to go places I've never been before. This program has changed my life forever.

I love to teach swim lessons and the kids make me happy. It's grrat to see them improve. I also come here to work out. I do BODY PUMP and BOOT CAMP on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the morning. I also come to the Y to see my friends, usually ones I work with, and we work out together. I have built lifelong friendships at the Y.

I have been working here for under a year. I have learned to love working with a group of great girls and boys who are warm and welcoming. There was never a day where I dread working. I'm 16, and this is my first job, and as a 16 year old I believe I couldn't ask for a better job. I teach swim lessons and recently got my lifeguard certifications. I have gotten the privilege to grow close and create amazing friendships with younger and older members. I get to come to work Monday-Thursday and Saturdays and every day I get to learn something new about many amazing members. On top of it all the Y is a great place to come workout and feel safe with friends.
