The YMCA has your cure for the Summer Time Blues. Each day comes packed with the perfect amount of busy and the right amount of fun. Children can beat back the blahs with eye-popping fun and inspiring activities, all in a structured and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 5 and 14. Our experienced staff is dedicated to making your child’s summer stimulating and memorable. The theme for this summer is BECAUSE WE ROCK. Our program will include weekly field trips, special events, sports clubs, and themed events and activities.

Weekly Field Trips

Weekly field trips provide exciting outings to amusement parks, water parks, Discovery Science Center, Beach and Pool Trips, Movies and more!  Field Trips vary by location.

Specialty Clubs

Specialty Clubs allow youth to explore subjects that are of interest to them. After four weeks in one of our clubs, your child will feel like an expert in their interest area while having fun and exploring a potential new hobby. Specialty clubs might include: Sports, Cooking, Art, Gardening, Drama, Music, and Photography.

Water Days/Wheel Days

Many of our YMCA locations offer Water Day and Wheel Day once a week. Water Days are great on those long, hot summer days. Some sites will break out the slip and slides and water bouncers, while others will plan a ton of water games with super soakers and water toys. On Wheel Days children can bring their bike, scooters, or skates and have a fun time riding around the campus with their friends.
