"Democracy must be learned
by each generation”. This is the guiding
motto of the YMCA's Youth and Government program. This
innovative program brings over 2,000 high school students
from all areas of California together to share their
opinions, write and lobby for bills, present court
cases and participate in an experience that will teach
them how to be instrumental in changing their communities
and government.
