in the case of other YMCA programs, financial
assistance is available for those who cannot afford
the customary fee. |
Our youth sports programs focus on the full and equal participation
of all: Every child plays in every game.
No matter what your child’s age or ability, they will
learn character
values, sportsmanship, and valuable new skills as a member
of the YMCA.
The YMCA of Orange County provides youth and adults with
health, fitness and wellness programming that are designed
to impact the overall health and wellness of people in our
communities. Our programs are designed to attract people
of all ages, all abilities, and all incomes.
YMCA sports programs also help to strengthen families. Parents
coach teams and turn out, often with brothers and sisters,
to watch kids play. People participating in sports build
lifelong positive attitudes, habits of healthy
exercise and good nutrition, and learn ways to have
fun.
