Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. The Y offers swim lessons for all ages including family swim, water safety, competitive swimming, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for those with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment. The YMCA offers classes in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Training. You never know when you might be tested to save a life. Emergency preparation techniques can be used in the workplace, at sporting events, at the beach, or in the home. Become certified in Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Standard First Aid and AED Training (Automated External Defibrillator).
