Visit ymcaoc.org/careers TK/Learning Bridge Learning Bridge is a structured, academic enrichment program that reinforces concepts taught in your child’s classroom based on state and district standards. Kindergarten and Elementary School (Grades K-5/6th) With a focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement, Y before and after school programs serve kindergarteners through middle schoolers with a variety of programmatic and activity options to explore and develop their interests and talents. Located right on school campuses! Teen Club (Grades 6/7-8th) The YMCA Teen Club is a safe and enjoyable before & after school program for students to be with friends while participating in organized educational and physical activities. Highlighted by character development activities, the Y will assist in providing students with the tools needed to grow into successful young adults. Located on school campus, we provide an age appropriate and active learning environment where teens focus on important team building and leadership skills. S.T.E.A.M. Curriculu m The Y prepares children for success with enrichment programs that develop knowledge and application of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. YMCA Club Curriculum Offers opportunities for students to learn about a variety of topics including: Art, Cooking, Photography, Engineering, Fitness, Science, Meteorology and more! Seasonal Day Camps Our seasonal day camps (Winter, Spring, Summer) provide academic enrichment, recreational and extracurricular opportunities for children during their school breaks. Physical Education Program The YMCA PE Program is modeled after the PE Content Standards for CA Public Schools. This program is fully implemented by Y staff making it cost efficient. Noontime Sports This program can be used to supplement existing PE programs, or can be implemented in the absence of regular PE programs. Inclusion Helps children with special needs succeed in traditional afterschool settings while broadening the experience of the other children in the program. Scholarship Assistance The YMCA provided a total of $1.1 million in financial assistance to YMCA of Orange County child care students in the 2018-19 school year! DID YOU KNOW?
