Erby graduated in 2007 from California State University Fullerton and received a BS in Kinesiology & Health Science in 2007. In college, Erby completed a 120 hour personal training internship through the Kinesiology/Titan Recreation Department. Erby was a two time high school state finalist in track & field and later ran for the California State University Fullerton Track Team in the 400, 800, and mile relay. In fitness instruction, his expertise includes running, power, speed, cross training, TRX®, and boot camp. Erby has been personal training for 6 years at various gyms throughout the area including California State University Student Recreation Center and 24 Hour Fitness. Erby also had the opportunity to work with softball Olympians at baseball clinics as a speed and agility trainer. With his track days behind him, Erby still loves to stay active with weekly middle distance runs, bike rides and lots of time in the gym.
Erby’s workout program is one that is traditional and at the same time not traditional. Bodybuilding mixed with endurance training gives him the best of both worlds. Weekly runs of 4-8 miles per week and trail bike riding keeps his cardio up, coupled with high intensity bodybuilding type workouts that emphasize every body part. With occasional power and speed and functional workouts using speed ladders, medicine balls, TRX®, and the bosu balls, he leaves nothing untouched.
