Health & Fitness Trainer Highlight: FULLERTON FAMILY YMCA
Hannah has been an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer since 2003. She also has certificates in strength training and holistic fitness, and is interested in Paleo and raw food nutrition. Her fitness background includes assisting clients with a wide range of goals, from injury prevention and weight loss, to clients living with diabetes and arthritis.
Hannah has done some type of workout almost daily for the last 20 years. She fell in love with weightlifting shortly after college. In order to keep her workouts fresh and effective, she uses a variety of types of resistance training, including bodyweight exercises, TRX®, sled pulls, kettlebells, and traditional gym equipment like dumbbells and machines. She loves to continually challenge herself, and her favorite body part to work out is her legs.
I believe that committing to a regular exercise program is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. As you work out, you will feel and look better. Just as important, I believe that working out helps increase one’s focus, self-confidence, and ability to set and achieve goals. These skills translate to success in your health, and in the rest of your life.
