Background & Experience
Melodie has been a Group Exercise Instructor for 8 years. Currently, she teaches Bodypump, Zumba, and HIIT, and is certified in Y-Barre. She has also taught Zumba Kids at the YMCA and Hot Hula, Hip Hop Hustle and Piyo. As a youth and young adult, she was involved in cheerleading and various forms of dance. In addition to being an instructor, she enjoys paddle boarding, surfing in Hawaii and all beach activities.
Melodie believes to live the fit and healthy life, you should always be active and eat more fruits and veggies than meats, limit those processed foods and always be hydrated! She believes every person has the ability to become the best healthy version of him or herself. Each person has a unique biologic and genetic tendency to function at a fulfilling and healthier lifestyle. Besides a conscientious effort in choosing healthy nutrition, every person should design their weekly workout schedule involving cardio and strength training. Varying these activities on the body on a periodic basis causes the muscles and metabolic systems to adapt and change (for the better). As your Personal Trainer, Melodie can help you achieve your goals of becoming the better version of yourself.
